Swiss / EEA nationals qualify as international yacht owners

As a result of changes made in 2015 to Maltese legislation, nationals of Switzerland or of the European Economic Area (EEA) now qualify as international owners of Malta flagged yachts. They do not need to create a Maltese company to own a Malta registered yacht, but they may just appoint a resident agent in Malta.
